Among the casualties stood the Entertainment industry, its creators scrambling to adapt to the online realm as a means of survival. However, for many, this transition offered little solace in terms of financial stability.
Enter Eventizer, a beacon of hope founded by the visionary Sourav Chakraborty, the esteemed Chairman, and the indomitable Saswati Guha Chakraborty, the dedicated Festival Director of IKSFF. Their unwavering commitment and passion have been the driving force behind our journey, guiding us through every challenge with grace and determination. Originally conceived to provide online ticketing facilities and digital promotion, Eventizer soon evolved into a lifeline for artists, offering them a platform to showcase their talents and earn the recognition and income they rightfully deserve. Spearheaded by Prismhub Online Solutions Pvt. Ltd., organizing online events became not just profitable, but remarkably accessible.
As the initiative gained momentum, Eventizer unveiled its crowning jewel: The International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF), a hybrid celebration designed to honor the ingenuity and creativity of independent filmmakers. From captivating Short Films to thought-provoking Documentaries, mesmerizing Music Videos, and powerful PSAs, IKSFF aimed to showcase the diverse spectrum of cinematic brilliance.
Fast forward to the present, and IKSFF stands tall in its fifth glorious year, a testament to its resounding success and unwavering dedication. What began as a humble endeavor has blossomed into a global phenomenon, with each passing year promising even greater triumphs.
