Welcome to the 5th IKSFF 2025. IKSFF stands tall in its fifth glorious year, a testament to its resounding success and unwavering dedication. What began as a humble endeavour has blossomed into a global phenomenon, with each passing year promising even greater triumphs.
As we stand on the cusp of our fifth-year milestone, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of the IKSFF family. From the filmmakers who poured their hearts into their craft to the audience members who embraced our vision with open arms, the invaluable support of our associates, partners, sponsors, jury members, advisors, and volunteers. Each interaction has been a stepping stone towards our collective success.

In our fast-paced world, time is a precious commodity. To harness it effectively, condensed experiences are gaining traction. Just as T20 cricket delivers thrilling action in a shorter format, Short Films are rising in popularity, offering succinct yet potent narratives tailored to audiences with limited time or attention spans.
At the International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF), our mission is to champion the art of short filmmaking. We provide a dynamic platform that fosters creativity, celebrates diversity, and rewards excellence in storytelling. Our aim is to curate a diverse selection of compelling short films, showcasing the talents of both emerging and established filmmakers. Through transcending cultural boundaries, we aim to unite audiences with captivating narratives and fresh perspectives.
IKSFF is more than a festival; it's a vibrant community of filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts. Kindly Note that the films will be screened either online or offline or on both platforms. Kindly note, all Selected/Nominated/Awarded films may not be screened during the physical screening due to time constrain. The choice of the festival committee will be the final in this regard.
